Knitpro

by Kelly

Knitpro is a free site (that PayPal button they have is for donations) that turns your image into a cross stitch, crochet, or knit pattern. It's really easy to use - input your image, choose the kind of pattern you need, and click the submit button. In no time you'll have a printable version.

Just don't try to do anything too complicated.  Simple patterns with few colors are best. I tried a sunset scene and it turned out really well. Now if only I had ink for my printer.

  1. I love this site! I put in the Aussie flag and it came up with a pattern for me. Though it might be a bit hard to pull off since so much requires one stitch in one color in parts of the pattern.

I think I might try sewing the rest of the colors/stars in with a tapestry needle once I get the majority of it completed. But that's for later after the other projects I want to do get done.

  2. Thought you'd like it. I'm trying to design my own 'spa' washcloth, and had major graphing problems. When I was looking around for an easier way, I found that site.
